Zipcar is a car-sharing service that allows you to rent a car for a short period of time at an hourly rate. City living isn’t always conducive to owning a car but sometimes you need one. This is where Zipcar comes in. To become a member of Zipcar, you will first need to pick a plan that best fits you. These plans start as low as just $7 per month! Next is the verification step, which is when Zipcar verifies your drivers license. Once you are verified, you will receive a Zipcard by mail and once that is verified, the process is complete and you will have access to a Zipcar.

Zipcar can be booked either online or through their mobile app. Once your reservation is made, your next step is to get on the road finally! In order to drive, you must tap your Zipcard to the reader that can be found on the windshield of the vehicle, which will unlock and lock at the beginning and end of your reservation. The keys must always remain in the Zipcar. At that point, you are all set and ready to go! Enjoy the ride!
